Brooch - Shellcraft Roses

A beautiful bouquet of red roses nestled within a white Scallop Shell, measuring a mere 1.75"
across and high.  Each red rose was created with dyed Baby Cup shells with a pale yellow Auger
shell center, the flower stems are dyed green Gar fish bones, the tiny rosebuds were created with
dyed Rice Shells nestled within a calyx of dyed Job's Tear shells, and the foliage was created using
dyed Gar Scales ~ all from vintage shellcraft supplies from the 1930s to 1950s era.  This creation
was part of a winning entry in the 2006 Sanibel Shell Show.  A beautiful little bouquet of
shellcraft roses for a loved one!
