Urchin Tool and instructions for separating the segments of the
urchin test. I have tried many techniques over the years and this tool
allows more control on where the breaks appear. I have much less
unwanted breakage than with any of the other things I have used.
Some urchins are just fragile and may shatter, but most of the test
segments separate in one piece and stay together. These segments
make lovely flowers as shown in the sample photo above. The flower
